As the purpose of this site is to collect information on various devices of a wide range of vendors, it will by its very nature to contain more details about those devices than the respective manufacturers wish to publicize.

The information collected here will most likely be collected by one or the other technique of reverse engineering. Please note that many forms of reverse engineering are perfectly legal in most places around the world. Observing a running program, or looking at a PCB and probing it for serial ports clearly count as such lawful techniques.
