Overview
The MSI RG54 SE II is a pretty standard 54MBps 802.11b/g WLAN router
Hardware
The hardware is based on the Atheros AR2317 WiFi router SoC chipset, combined witha Marvell 88e6060 four-port Ethernet switch.
Serial Console
There is a four-pin header called SJ1 on the top left of the PCB, next to the reset button.
The pinout is as follows (from top to bottom):
1 +3.3V 2 GND 3 RxD 4 TxD
Yes, this is true. It really means you need to obtain the ground wire from somewhere else, e.g. the shielding cover of the RJ-45 jacks. Quite funny...
