The gpl-devices.org Wiki tries to collect information about the hardware and software of embedded devices running Free Software (mainly licensed under GPL, but also other licenses).

The main focus is on information required or of assistance to make modifications to the device - after all that's the purpose of the GPL: Enable the user to make and run modified versions of the Free Software program.
